We all know that sharing our faith is the basic responsibility of every Christian. But the truth is, we struggle with that. We fear offending pre-believers. As a result, we make excuses for us not to do so.
The truth is, this doesn't have to be the case.
Through this sermon series, titled 'The C-P-R of Christianity', we explore how sharing our faith can be easy, and non-offensive. The bottom line? Everyone can be a contagious Christian!
The sermon series is adapted from the book 'Becoming A Contagious Christian' by best-selling author, Bill Hybels, Senior Pastor of Willow Creek Community Church.
As we near the end of the series on the C-P-R of Evangelism, how do we be the kind of contagious church that God desires for us to be? Carl shares with us more on this topic!
This week, we begin the Reaping process of the CPR of evangelism. How should we help our friends to cross the line of faith? Sister Linnette shares with us an encouraging message!

Everyday we rub shoulders with people. Be it at work, at home, at the market. Today, Carl shares with us how we should approach these everyday opportunities that God has given to us!

Bill Hybels said “Sometimes, authenticity fails to grab people’s attention; Compassion is occasionally written off as the opiate of do-gooders who may have some ulterior motive. But sacrifice motivated by genuine love and concern, is extremely difficult to discount.”
As we continue this week on the series of evangelism, God is challenging us to look into making the biggest sacrifice of modelling the Christian lifestyle for the long haul. Click the link to listen now!
In a season where the church is called into the harvest field, compassion is the fuel that gives us the motivation and focus to press on and move the church forward. This week, Joseph shares on how we can build up our compassion quotients such that we can look to the harvest field with eyes of compassion.
*Correction: The bible reference for the second point (Culture Impacts Compassion) should be taken from 1 John 4:19-21 instead of 1 John 1:19-21 as mentioned in the recording. Joseph had made the correction on site after the recording ended.
Authenticity is defined as genuine, being real, true to self, or simply, being honest. The question is, how real are we with ourselves? The world’s mantra around us screams out: Image is everything! But as Christians, God is looking for authenticity in our lives. We have a mandate to redeem our relationships, our families, and our nations, with authenticity.
In life, there are things that we don't understand how it happens, or why it happens. How do we move on past these things that hinders our relationship with God? How do we reach the harvest in spite of our own difficulties and challenges? Mark 4:26-29 tells us that we don't have to know how, when we know who!
God's heart is for the lost. You and I, we too were lost, but found now in the love of Christ. The truth is, lost people matter. And if lost people matter to God, then they must matter to us too. We must catch God's heart for the lost.
We've been hearing that the call for us is evangelism. This task is something that God is challenging us to do right now. When God challenges us, we need to follow it up with an action. We ought to live with an urgency in the season of harvest. This is our time.
We all know evangelism is part of our responsibility as a Christian. But we seem to be able to find reasons not to do so. Carl shares with us a very honest and straightforward observation of some of these excuses that we commonly use. Let's change all of that this week. Listen to the sermon, and take the 7 Days Evangelism Challenge! We'll get there together!
Do I have to evangelise? Why should I tell someone else about my faith? The truth is, as Christians, this is our basic responsibility. Jesus commissioned us to do so! So the question is, where is your friend? Bring them next week!
As we wrap up the series on the CPR of evangelism, Pastor Darren reiterates to us, what it means to be evangelism focused. The call for us to be involved in the mentoring journey has never been greater!
